Police Chase Ends With 'Multiple Suspects' Arrested
Police said the chase is believed to be connected to a Monday carjacking that left two elderly women injured.
LAKEWOOD, CO — A car chase involving police from Denver, Lakewood and Englewood came to an end Wednesday with "multiple suspects" and a vehicle in custody, authorities said.
Police said the chase, which came to an end near Girard and University in Englewood, is believed to be related to a Monday carjacking that took place in Lakewood.
In a news release on Monday, Lakewood police said the car was stolen from two women, ages 88 and 76. Both women were run over before the driver fled in the stolen car from the 400 block of Benton Street.

Witnesses told police the car had been stolen by an 18- to 20-year-old man who was believed to be armed and dangerous.
Police have been on the lookout for the stolen 2000 Lincoln Continental since the Monday theft.

Police said an investigation into the car chase is ongoing. The scene where the chase came to an end was still active as of writing.
