Stolen Cement Truck Used In Lakewood Gun Store Burglary
Thieves used a stolen cement truck to pull the doors off Greenwood Mountain Guns, police said. At least 14 handguns were stolen.

LAKEWOOD, CO — Burglars hit a Lakewood gun store early Tuesday morning, using a stolen cement truck to rip the doors off before entering and stealing at least 14 handguns, police reported.
The incident took place at Green Mountain Guns, 3355 S. Yarrow St., starting around 4:20 a.m. Police said cables attached to the cement truck were used to pull off the front doors. 9NEWS reported the cement truck was stolen from Arvada. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is investigating the stolen cement truck, police said.
The guns stolen were all semi-automatics, said Mark Reeves, police spokesman.

After reviewing surveillance tapes, police released a report that two men appeared to have pulled off the burglary. Police gave no other description, other than that the men were "wearing gloves."
9NEWS reported that after previous burglaries, the store had installed cement barriers in front to block anyone from crashing through the doors.
