• Police chase through Highlands Ranch ends with shots fired (littletonindependent.net) — Littleton police assisted Douglas County deputies in a dangerous chase Monday night that began after an armed carjacking and ended with shots fired near County Line Road and Santa Fe Drive. A deputy suffered minor injuries when the suspect rammed law enforcement vehicles, and the suspect was shot and hospitalized. Littleton Police are now leading the scene investigation alongside a regional critical incident team.
