State agency investigating after dozens of Colorado gas stations received contaminated fuel (wfmynews2.com) — Littleton drivers should know King Soopers says its Belleview and Ken Caryl gas stations were checked and found not contaminated after a diesel mix-up affected other Colorado locations. State regulators are still investigating how diesel entered regular gas supplies, and impacted drivers elsewhere are facing costly repairs and navigating claims with fuel providers.

The Joshua School named in new Colorado lawsuit filed by families of students abused by Littleton bus aide (cbsnews.com) — Families of students once transported by Littleton Public Schools have filed lawsuits after a bus aide admitted to abusing nonverbal children, raising serious questions about reporting and oversight that directly affect local special-needs families. The Joshua School and Littleton Public Schools now face legal scrutiny as Colorado tightens mandatory reporting laws meant to protect vulnerable students statewide.
   

3. Christian author Philip Yancey confesses to years-long extramarital affair: ‘Great shame' (nypost.com) — Littleton appears in this story through a 2019 faith-based remembrance service at Waterstone Community Church, where author Philip Yancey once spoke about life after Columbine. The piece now focuses on his public confession of a years-long extramarital affair, his retirement from ministry, and his wife’s decision to remain in the marriage while asking for prayers.
   

4. Colorado sees reductions in auto theft for third consecutive year (koaa.com) — Littleton is among the Colorado cities still seeing relatively high auto theft rates, even as statewide vehicle theft has dropped 34% since 2024 and 61% since 2022. Denver Summit FC acquires defender Janine Sonis, adding to list of Colorado-raised talent (denverpost.com) — Littleton gets a small shoutout as Denver Summit FC continues building a roster that includes midfielder Jordan Baggett, a Chatfield alum from Littleton, alongside new signing and Colorado native defender Janine Sonis. The NWSL club acquired Sonis in a trade, adding an accomplished international player on a three-year deal as it grows professional women’s soccer in the Denver metro area.
