• State agency investigating after dozens of Colorado gas stations received contaminated fuel (wfmynews2.com) — Two King Soopers gas stations in Littleton were initially flagged in a statewide contaminated-fuel scare but later cleared after diagnostics showed their tanks were not affected. State regulators say diesel was mistakenly delivered as regular gas to several Colorado stations, damaging some vehicles and prompting claims. Drivers who filled up Wednesday afternoon or Thursday elsewhere in Colorado are urged to check with their station and file complaints if needed.
   

• Colorado sees reductions in auto theft for third consecutive year (koaa.com) — Littleton is among the Colorado cities still seeing relatively high auto theft rates, even as statewide car theft has dropped for three straight years. State Patrol officials credit prevention efforts and urge residents to keep locking vehicles, removing keys, and using tools like steering wheel locks and GPS trackers to keep the downward trend going.
