$1.7 Million Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Connecticut

CONNECTICUT — There was a $1.7 million Lotto! winning ticket sold for the Friday, Jan. 12 jackpot drawing, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

One ticket matching all six numbers was sold in Connecticut.

The winning numbers are:

• 10
• 16
• 27
• 33
• 39
• 42

Six tickets also yielded $1,773 winners, 223 people won $55 and 3,364 people won $2.

According to the Connecticut Lottery, the state's "Lotto! jackpot starts at $1 million and grows until it is won." It costs $1 to purchase a ticket and the drawings are held at 10:38 p.m. on Tuesday and Friday nights.
