2 Killed In Multi-Vehicle Crash In Connecticut: Report

Three people have been taken to the hospital, including one person by helicopter, according to a report.

COLCHESTER, CT — Two people are dead after a multi-vehicle crash in Colchester, according to media reports.

Three people have been hospitalized, including one patient who was flown to the hospital, NBC CT reports.

The crash occurred in the area of 453 Middletown Road. According to the state DOT, Route 16 is closed between Standish and Davidson roads because of a multi-vehicle crash. The crash was reported at 5:15 p.m. Sunday.

Colchester Fire & Emergency Medical Services said Route 16 between Davidson Road and Skinner Road will be closed for an extended period of time. Please continue to avoid the area and adhere to the road closed signs.
