CT Bakery Recalls Bread Products With Undeclared Wheat
The products have been distributed at multiple supermarkets in Connecticut.

CONNECTICUT — D’Addona Brothers Bakery is recalling two of its bread products because they contain undeclared wheat.
The state Department of Consumer Protection’s Food and Standards Division announced the Wolcott-based bakery’s voluntary recall on Thursday.
The recall applies to the company’s 12-ounce bags of “Slider Rolls” and 20-ounce bags of “Round Artisan Bread,” according to the state.

“People who have allergies to wheat run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products,” the state indicated, in the announcement.
To date, no one has reported any illness from consuming the bread products.

The recalled items were distributed to the following Connecticut stores:
- Stop and Shop: 945 Wolcott St., Waterbury
- Stop and Shop: 240 Chase Ave., Waterbury
- Stop and Shop: 410 Reidville Dr., Waterbury
- LaBonne’s Market: 238 Main St. South, Woodbury
- ShopRite: 775 Main St. South, Southbury
- Stop and Shop: 100 Main St. North, Southbury
- ShopRite: 1 Padanaram Rd., Danbury
- ShopRite: 143 Federal Rd., Brookfield
Both products are packaged in clear plastic bags.
The Slider Rolls are marked with UPC 8 57131 00409 0, and the Round Artisan Bread is marked with UPC 8 57131 00408 3.
Customers may return the products to where they bought them for a full refund.
