Snow Accumulation Estimates Released For Next Storm: Here's What To Expect
There are two upcoming chances for snow in the forecast. Here are the latest updates and how much snow may accumulate.
CONNECTICUT — It looks like there are two more chances for some light snow accumulation in the days ahead for Connecticut.
First, on Thursday evening, light snow is forecast to develop and between 1–2 inches of snow is possible in places, according to forecasters. Whatever does fall should stick, as the temperatures will be below freezing.
And then on Saturday there is another chance for light snow, once again the accumulation is forecast to be minor.

"Tomorrow, after a bright start, cloud coverage increases as a fast-moving, clipper type disturbance heads our way. We’ll likely see temps peak in the mid to upper 30s with a calmer wind. After sunset and the evening commute, light snow is likely with minor accumulations possible. We’re thinking 1-2″ across the northern tier of the state, especially over the higher terrain near the MA border. Across the southern tier, we anticipate a coating of snow where it falls. Friday, we end the week bright and windy with highs near 40," said WFSB 3 TV Chief Meteorologist Mark Dixon.

"As of now, a weak disturbance could produce some light snow Saturday morning as it passes to our south. The impact is minimal, if at all. Otherwise, it’s mostly cloudy and seasonably chilly with highs in the mid-30s. Sunday is dry, but similar temperature-wise, under a mix of sun and clouds. Monday appears mostly sunny and a bit milder with highs closer to 40," said Dixon.
