Severe Storms Forecast For CT: Here's When, What To Expect

Forecasters are predicting big changes in the weather pattern in Connecticut.

CONNECTICUT — The weather is expected to be stormy and wet in the next few days in Connecticut, according to forecasters.

WFSB is reporting that an approaching cold front on Saturday will lead to “strong to severe” storms. This front is expected to mean showers could linger into Sunday, according to WFSB.

Brian Frugis, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, also said a rainy pattern is setting up, and he said showers and thunderstorms are likely Saturday afternoon into Sunday.
