New Memorial Day Weekend Weather Forecast Details Released: What To Know In Connecticut
The long holiday weekend weather forecast features some good news and some bad news if you have outdoor plans. Here are the new details.
CONNECTICUT — Talk of a nor'easter dominated the weather discussion this week, and now that the storm is ending the focus returns to the upcoming Memorial Day holiday weekend, which for many is the unofficial start of summer.
There are numerous community remembrances and ceremonies, parades and of course barbecues planned.
It appears Memorial Day itself will feature the best weather, followed by Sunday, and Saturday looks like the worst of the three days, but even Saturday will be mostly dry except for some morning rain showers.

"We anticipate improvement (slowly) over the Holiday weekend! Tomorrow is mostly cloudy with only a low-end chance for a shower (most of the time is dry) with highs between 60 and 65. Sunday is dry, and under a mix of sun and clouds (likely more clouds than sunshine) temps top out in the upper 60s to near 70. Then, Memorial Day Monday features the best weather of the 3-day weekend. It will be dry, mostly sunny, and milder… with highs in the mid-70s inland and lower 70s along the shoreline. This weekend marks the “unofficial start to summer” and temperatures will at least get back to levels closer to normal for this time of year!" said WFSB 3 TV meteorologists.
