"Tomorrow starts dry, then light snow or a wintry mix becomes likely by midday as a weak disturbance moves through the region. We have a *First Alert* in place for the evening commute as there could be slick spots," said WFSB 3 TV chief meteorologist Mark Dixon. "With ongoing chances for light snow Tuesday night, it continues into the Wednesday morning commute as a coating to 2″ of snow could further the concern for slippery conditions, especially on untreated surfaces. After sunrise Wednesday, temps trend milder… so any light snow/mix goes over to light rain before ending. By the afternoon, we’re forecasting highs near or above 40. Also, our pattern remains active. With temps above freezing, it’s a round of rain that begins later Wednesday and continues into early Thursday. Thereafter, another wave of rain moves into and through the region Friday morning....Between now and the end of the week, we could pick up between 1 and 2″ of rain. Not what we need given how much rain we’ve had in recent months, but it will be a long duration event so flooding doesn’t look likely. (Read/Watch more at WFSB 3 TV).
