CT Weather: Strong-To-Severe Thunderstorms Forecast: Timeline, New Details Released
"Lightning, heavy rainfall, damaging wind gusts, and hail will be the top threats," according to local meteorologists.
CONNECTICUT — Summer-like weather is coming to the state this week, and there is a chance for strong-to-severe thunderstorms on Thursday afternoon, according to local forecasters.
While wet weather is expected to linger into Wednesday, Connecticut will start to experience “drier, hotter and more humid” weather starting Wednesday afternoon, according to WFSB.
WFSB meteorologists expect the heat and humidity to peak on Thursday, calling the Juneteenth holiday a “First Alert Weather Day.”
