Longtime Bristol Sandwich Shop To Shutter
The business announced its upcoming closure this week.
BRISTOL, CT — A longtime city sandwich shop, Grinders Keepers, plans to close permanently this month.
The business, which is at 799 King St., announced on its Facebook page on Tuesday that June 30 will be its last day.
The owners are retiring and decided to close the shop, according to the notice.

Grinders Keepers’ menu features a variety of sandwiches on fresh bread, ranging from meatball to eggplant to roast beef and chicken parm.
The community has been wishing the owners well in their future endeavors, by posting comments on the announcement.

One poster wrote, “Thank you for all the years I've gotten grinders from you and I wish you both the very best in your retirement!”
