While there's no word on the current movie being filmed, Connecticut has frequently served as the setting for holiday-themed movies.
Last year, the state launched the Connecticut Christmas Movie Trail.
The initiative highlighted locations across the state where more than 20 holiday movies have been filmed.
Some films featuring Connecticut in recent years include "Holly Jolly," a 2023 movie filmed in Bethel and New Milford; "Sugar Plum Twist," which was shot in Norwich and New London in 2021 and appeared on the Hallmark Channel; "Holiday For Heroes," filmed in several Southeastern Connecticut towns and released in 2019; and "Christmas On Honeysuckle Lane," which appeared on Hallmark and was shot in Wethersfield.
