CROMWELL, CT — A rally is scheduled for Tuesday night to support the local school district and transgender athletes.

The event will be at 6 p.m. at Cromwell High School, according to organizers.

It is in response to the Trump administration investigating the local school system for allowing transgender athletes to compete on sports teams that match their gender identity, instead of their sex at birth.
