Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will circle Norton Park in festive, vintage vehicles three times Dec. 10 starting at 6 p.m. Residents are invited to decorate their vehicles for the holidays and come to watch and wave to them from the comfort of their cars.
Santa Claus & Mrs. Claus will be joined by local police and fire trucks that night and last year, one of Santa’s elves was also driven around Norton Park in a vintage bat mobile. Santa's elves will be handing out candy.

“Decorate your cars, fill your mugs with hot chocolate and join us for a night of holiday cheer," said Quinn Wazorko-Christopher, co-president of the Plainville Chamber of Commerce.
Those who plan to attend the event will be directed to where they can park between 5:15 and 5:45 p.m. Spectators are asked to remain in their vehicles for the duration of the event.
According to a post made by the Plainville Chamber of Commerce last December, Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus loved coming to Plainville to wave to families last year. They sent the Chamber the following 'quote':
"It was wonderful seeing all the families out to share their joy with us," said Santa Claus & Mrs. Claus. "It was a beautiful turn out for our short visit. We could see the happiness in all the children’s eyes. Love to all from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year."
The "Wave to Santa" event is presented by the Plainville Chamber of Commerce, the Plainville Fire Company and the Town of Plainville.
