Unique Restaurant That Gives You Books With Your Meal Is For Sale
The unique restaurant has just been listed for sale and has been featured nationally on television and news articles.
UNION, CT — Do you want to own a unique, popular restaurant that also offers books too, well here is your chance.
The home of Travelers Restaurant at 1257 Buckley Highway in Union is on the market for $1.5 million, according to a listing on Crexi.com.
"Situated on a spacious lot, the site includes not only the popular restaurant but also an 1,800 sq ft garage and an additional 1,680 sq ft of retail space, providing multiple streams of income or expansion potential," according to the listing on Crexi.com.

The unique restaurant was featured in an article by TastingTable.com, as the eatery also features "stacks of books." So basically, you can enjoy your meal with a good book or two or even three, and even take a book home. The tradition dates back to the 1980s.

According to a menu posted online, other dishes include the Mark Twain, which includes bacon, sautéed mushrooms and Swiss cheese, The Godfather, caramelized onion, mushroom and bacon topped with pesto, mozzarella and served with fries, and the Charles Dickens wrap, which features, chicken, raisins, bacon, blue cheese and spinach.
Other specials include: a meatloaf dinner, potato beef stroganoff, steaks, Mediterranean baked cod, shrimp, salmon, and chicken dishes, according to the eatery's social media.

The restaurant has 8,500 followers on Facebook.
