Avon Church's Lasagna Dinner To Help West Hartford Nonprofit

AVON, CT — A local church's community dinner event resumes this Friday with a popular Italian item on the menu.

The regular "First Friday Dinner" at Avon Congregational Church, 6 W. Main St., Avon, will be on Friday, April 4, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Highlighting the menu will be lasagna (meat and vegetarian), along with tossed salad, rolls, and the church's popular “Dessert Buffet,” which includes coffee and tea to round out the dinner.

The cost is $20 per person. Take-out is available.
