Bottles And Cans Pile Up Over Holidays? Avon Scouts Can Help
Avon Boy Scout Troop 274 is hosting a fundraising bottle and can drive to raise money for the troop and help folks discard redeemable items.
AVON, CT — As the season of celebrations winds down, Avon Boy Scout Troop 274 has a way to properly dispose of all those bottles and cans that have accumulated.
On Saturday, Jan. 3, the troop is hosting another bottle and can drive at the West Avon Congregational Church, 280 Country Club Road, Avon.
From 8 a.m. to noon that day, local scouts will be collecting all the redeemable bottles and cans that the public has to offer.
