The registration deadline for an upcoming Garden Club of Avon program on garden life is Tuesday, March 7.
AVON, CT — The Garden Club of Avon's upcoming March event will have guests thinking spring, even if there might be a few more snowflakes to dodge this winter.
Reservations for the upcoming program "Gardening for Wildlife" must be done by Tuesday, March 7.
The event itself is Monday, March 13, at the Church of St. Ann, 289 Arch Road, Avon.

It will feature a brief membership meeting at 11:30 a.m. that day with a pot luck lunch at noon and the program itself at 1 p.m.
After food is consumed, the program will feature Margery Winters of the Roaring Brook Nature Center in nearby Canton.

Her discussion is called "Your Garden Is Home To Many Wonderful Creatures."
Winters' presentation will focus on what lives in our gardens, what gardeners can do to encourage wildlife and what the right plants are to do just that.
