• Avon Preschool Applicants Sought For Next School Year (patch.com) — Families in Avon with children who will be 3 or 4 next year can now enter a lottery for spots in the 2026-27 preschool program at the Avon Early Learning Center at Roaring Brook School. Applications are open through Jan. 16, 2026, and children must be Avon residents, fully toilet-trained, and meet age and developmental guidelines to qualify.
