Avon Library Offers Serenity Via Virtual Program Thursday
The library is presenting a business consultant/meditation expert who will offer tips on how folks can create inner peace.
AVON, CT — A lot of us could use some inner peace these days, and a special program courtesy of the Avon Free Public Library later this week can help.
That's because the library is presenting a virtual event called "Meditation for Balance and Inner Contentment" on Thursday, Feb. 6, at 7 p.m.
"People all over the world are tuning into meditation to help them lead a more peaceful and healthy lifestyle," wrote the library in an announcement.

"Scientific studies have proven that the practice of meditation provides a deep relaxation to the body that helps reduce stress and tension."
Hosting the free program will be Bruce Faithwick, who is a business consultant in the software industry and, also, a meditation expert.
