Avon Offers Free Help For Folks Cleaning Their Yard
The Town of Avon is offering 'Fee-Free Saturdays' at the transfer station starting Saturday, April 19.
AVON, CT — The Town of Avon is helping residents get rid of all that brush that fell into yards over the winter by offering "Fee Free Saturdays" this spring.
Starting Saturday, April 19, the Avon Transfer Station, 281 Huckleberry Hill Road, Avon, will be offering no-fee brush disposal for both permit-holders and non-permit-holders.
It will take place on the following Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to noon (ends one hour before closing): April 19, April 26, May 3, and May 10.

Proof of residency is required.
