Avon Public Library Announces Drop-in Genealogy, Blood Pressure Screenings
The library released a list of upcoming dates on Friday, July 8.

Drop-In Genealogy takes place at the Avon Public Library on Wednesday, Aug 3 from 1-3 p.m. Participants will receive free help with their genealogy research with Marilyn Geise. Registration is not necessary to attend. For more information, contact Patrice Celli at (860) 673-9712, ext. 234. The Avon Public Library is located at 281 Country Club Rd. and is free and open to the public.
Upcoming Drop-In Genealogy dates are as followed: Wednesday, Sept. 7 from 1-3 p.m.; Wednesday, Nov. 2 from 1-3 p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 7 from 1-3 p.m.

There will be a free blood pressure screening from 12:15-1:45 p.m. Walk-ins will be accepted. No registration is necessary as part of a community service of the Farmington Valley VNA. Screening dates are as followed: Thursday, July 21 from 12:15-1:45 p.m.; Thursday, Aug. 4 from 12:15-1:45 p.m.; Thursday, Aug. 18 from 12:15-1:45 p.m.; Thursday, Sept. 1 from 12:15-1:45 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 15 from 12:15-1:45 p.m.
