Avon School To Perform Beloved Disney Musical

AVON, CT — The town's intermediate school is hosting a special theatrical musical presentation of a Disney class next week and tickets are on sale now.

Thompson Brook School in Avon, which serves pupils in the fifth- and sixth grades, is putting on a production of "Beauty and the Beast Jr.," a condensed stage show version of the Disney classic film from the early 1990s.

It will be performed at the school, located at 150 Thompson Road, Avon, from Friday to Sunday, March 28-30.

The Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m., while the Sunday production is a 2 p.m. matinee.

"Beauty and the Beast Jr." is being sponsored by the TBS Parent Teacher Organization.

All tickets are $12, with children under 2 free if they're not occupying a seat. They can be purchased online.
