Beloved Little Bird Topic Of Avon Garden Club Event
Reservations for a special Garden Club of Avon lunch meeting celebrating a sure sign of spring must be made by Tuesday, April 15.
AVON, CT — There's still time to reserve a spot at a local garden club forum that takes a look at the beloved hummingbird.
The deadline to reserve a spot at the highly anticipated Garden Club of Avon lunch forum is Tuesday, April 15, for the event, which will take place Monday, April 21, at the Church of St. Ann, 289 Arch Road, Avon.
It starts with an 11:30 a.m. club meeting, a noon luncheon, and a 1 p.m. presentation on those cute, colorful ornithological feathered friends.

Headlining the event is Catie Resar, who is the program director at the Connecticut Audubon Society of Greater Hartford.

The guest fee is $15, payable at the door via cash or check. Reservations in advance, however, are required, and they must be made by Tuesday, April 15.
