Deadline For Special Avon Garden Club Event Is Wednesday, March 5
The Garden Club of Avon is hosting a special forum Monday, March 10, on the importance of pollinating insects.

AVON, CT — Wednesday, March 5, is the deadline to register for a special Garden Club of Avon program next week on special bugs that bring life to gardens.
The Garden Club of Avon is hosting expert Lisa Newell on Monday, March 10, at the Church of St. Ann, 289 Arch Road, Avon, for a program called "Bring Back the Pollinators."
Pollinators are insects that spread pollen from plant to plant, allowing for plants of all sorts to grow and flourish.

It will start at 11:30 a.m. with a club meeting, with a light lunch planned for noon. The presentation is at 1 p.m.
Reservations are required and must be requested by Wednesday, March 5.

The guest fee is $15 payable at the door via cash or check.
