With Christmas now over, January is the month when folks must take down and dispose of their natural trees.
AVON, CT — Now that 2024 is in the rearview mirror, it is time to put that Christmas tree to rest as well.
To help out, the Avon Public Works Department will begin picking up Christmas trees on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025.

Residents should, simply, leave their tree curbside if they wish for the town to pick it up.
There is no established schedule by street and multiple, random passes will be made around town throughout the month.
