Free Health Screenings Available At Avon Library
Visiting nurses are at the library every other Tuesday to do free blood pressure/blood sugar screenings, with the next program on Jan. 28.
AVON, CT — Every other Tuesday in Avon, local residents can get free screenings of two important physical conditions necessary for good health.
On the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month, the Farmington Valley Visiting Nurse's Association hosts free blood pressure and blood sugar clinics at the Avon Free Public Library.
The next clinic is Tuesday, Jan. 28, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the library's art gallery. The library is located at 281 Country Club Road.
