Magna, the head of Magna Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine (Avon/Canton), created The
Longevity Zone to help improve and extend the health spans of residents through a combination
of physical health, mental and emotional wellbeing, and community belonging.

Two 10-minute parodies — Agent for Change and The Debate —written and performed by Playhouse 44, will use comedy to reinforce the messages inherent in any serious discussion of what are known as Blue Zones, which research identifies as the world's healthiest and happiest communities.

“I envisioned a place where the principles of the Blue Zones could be applied locally,” said Magna. “The Longevity Zone is the realization of that vision. With the help of Playhouse 44, our informational event on May 30 will also become a night of fun. That will only make the important messages and suggestions easier to digest.”

Register by emailing brian@thelongevity.zone. Playhouse 44, meanwhile, can be reached at info@playhouse44.org
