Invasive Plants Targeted At Avon Forum Saturday
The program will take place at the Avon Free Public Library and is being hosted by the Avon Clean Energy Commission.
AVON, CT — Area residents are invited to join the Avon Clean Energy Commission Saturday to come up with a plan to eradicate invasive plant species when the weather warms.
The commission is hosting a brainstorming session at the Avon Free Public Library on Saturday, Jan. 20, to "discuss ways that we can encourage native species and eradicate invasive plants in our community."
It will take place from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
