Mangia! Avon Lions Serve Up a Pasta Dinner to Support Local Charites
Please join the Avon Lions as they serve up a pasta dinner with all the fixings including meatballs, salad, rolls, wine, coffee and dessert. The dinner takes place on Friday, April 22 between 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Avon Senior Center at 635 West Avon Rd. in Avon. The cost is $12 for adults and $6 for kids 12 and under. Proceeds will go to local charities.
The Lions have hosted the annual pasta dinner over 30 years. Last year, due to the pandemic, they organized the dinner as a takeout event only. This year diners will have a choice, they will welcome diners to sit down at the Avon Senior Center or pick it up for take out.

“We have come a long way in the last two years, people are vaccinated and feel more comfortable about socializing again, said Avon Lion Maria Zone, who is the chair of this year’s dinner. It will be nice to share a delicious meal in person again this year.”
Lions are no strangers to providing service both locally and globally. Since 1917, they have strengthened local communities through hands-on service and humanitarian projects, and extend their service impact through the generous support of the Lions Clubs International Foundation.
