It then takes a right onto Route 44 (West Main Street) heading west, where it will end at the corner of Route 44 and Ensign Drive at the Avon Town Green.

There will be a ceremony at the Veterans' Memorial on the green following the parade.

The public is invited to view the parade and attend the ceremony.

"We expect a great day and hope for a large turnout," wrote the town. "Please support us and honor those who gave their lives in the call of duty."

In case of rain, there will be a smaller ceremony at the Avon Senior Center, 635 West Avon Road, at 11 a.m. with limited attendance.
