AVON, CT — Local police said Thursday that a paving project in Farmington will result in temporary road closures for two days next week in Avon.Avon police said Harris Road in Avon will be closed on Tuesday, Oct. 25, and Thursday, Oct. 27, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days.As a result, police said, for motorists traveling south on West Avon Road to get to Route 4 in Farmington, all traffic will be directed to turn right at School House Corners to continue on West Avon Road to Route 4.
