Timberlin Golf Course Hires New Director Of Golf

Timberlin Golf Course is pleased to announce that Sol Guerrero will be joining Timberlin Golf Course as our new Director of Golf. In his role, Sol will be responsible for all administrative and professional duties in the management of all aspects of Timberlin Golf Course. He will oversee all fiscal responsibilities and operations including; planning, budgeting, forecasting, monitoring and corrective management.

Sol has worked in the golf business for over 20 years, and became a Class-A PGA Member in 2009 after graduating from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI. He has extensive experience not only as a coach and teacher but prides himself as an expert with customer service and staff supervision.

While attending Ferris State, he had the opportunity to intern at the Lakes Country Club in Palm Desert, CA and the Nissequogue Club in Long Island, NY. He worked for Mike Clifford and John Elwood, respectively, who became his main mentors and role models in the golf business. Sol is grateful for his previous and current employment opportunities and has been fortunate to work for wonderful mentors and professionals. They demonstrated how a Golf Professional should present themselves; leading with action rather than words, presenting professionally always, and providing exceptional service to their patrons. His experience in this industry has provided him with the ability to successfully lead employees and deliver exceptional service.

Sol was born in the Philippines and grew up in Long Island, NY. Although he now resides in Manchester, CT, he is looking forward to being in Berlin and at Timberlin Golf Course.
