"Anne was a classy lady, always impeccably dressed with coordinated outfits and her signature clean white Keds sneakers (that never seemed to get dirty no matter what task called her).
According to the history group, Yantz kept busy, volunteering at her church, the Berlin Historical Society, the Berlin Garden Club, her East Berlin community, Covenant Village, family, and friends.
"She was particularly passionate about the Native Americans who lived in what became Berlin and in researching the Old Leatherman," wrote the organization. "Anne, your presence at the museum has been missed, and you will never be forgotten."
