Berlin Library Reorganizes Its Roster Of Books

The library is hosting an event this wekeend to educate and celebrate regarding a new organizational system there.

BERLIN, CT — The Berlin-Peck Memorial Library is hosting a special celebration Saturday, Sept. 20, to dedicate a new way of organizing its books.

The library, located at 234 Kensington Road, is asking folks to join them at 1 p.m. on Saturday for the grand opening of its newly reorganized adult nonfiction section.

It is "the culmination of years of work to make our materials more accessible to you," wrote the library in an announcement.

Guests will be able to enjoy refreshments while learning about the "Pecking Order," the library's "intuitive, word-based organization system and get a tour of the area."

The event is free, but the library is asking folks to register in advance so it can get an idea of how many people to expect.
