Berlin Library's 'Toy Swap Shop' A Perfect Way To Donate/Receive Toys For Holidays

Folks can drop off toys at the library on Friday, then pick out new, old ones during the actual swap event this weekend.

BERLIN, CT — Parents looking to unload those toys that have piled up in their children's bedrooms have the perfect place to get rid of them.

The Berlin-Peck Memorial Library this weekend is hosting its annual "Toy Swap Shop,"where people can give and get usable, pre-owned toys from the community.

"Got toys your kids have outgrown? Give them a second life," wrote the library in an announcement. "Donate gently used toys to our upcoming Toy Swap Shop."

Participants can drop off donations now and come back to “shop” for something new-to-them on the event day.

"It’s fun, free, and a great way to clear some space," wrote the library, which is located at 234 Kensington Road.

The drop-off day is Friday, Nov. 21, from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

The swap day is Saturday, Nov. 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
