Berlin Organization To Host Vaccine Information Event

BERLIN, CT — With the national political scene proving to be challenging to proponents of vaccines, one Berlin grassroots group is hosting a special event on the topic next week.

Grassroots Berlin is hosting Dr. Sarah Korones on Tuesday, Nov. 11, and she will discuss the importance of vaccines in the modern-day health scene.

She is expected to discuss ways people can protect themselves and their communities "by stopping the spread of disease through science."

Korones and Grassroots Berlin will be at the Berlin Community Center, 230 Kensington Road, on Tuesday, Nov. 11, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The event, which will feature some refreshments, is free and open to the public.
