Berlin PD Taking 'Pink Patch' Orders For Breast Cancer Awareness

BERLIN, CT — Local police are selling special, pink badges as part of an awareness campaign for breast cancer.

This October, the Berlin Police Department is again participating in the Pink Patch Project for Breast Cancer Awareness.

In support of the Pink Patch Project, BPD Officers can wear pink patches on their uniforms, and we will have pink patches available for public sale.

Patches are $10 each, and the proceeds will be donated to After the Storm, Inc., a local foundation whose mission is to assist cancer survivors heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually from the aftermath of their diagnosis and treatments and help restore balance to their lives.

All orders can be placed through BOD Officer Maegan Musanti at mmusanti@berlinpd.org. Patches can be picked up at the police department or mailed.
