Berlin Play Area Reopens After Refurb
The Town of Berlin announced the opening of the popular playground on Wednesday, Dec. 10.
BERLIN, CT — A popular playground in Berlin officially reopened Wednesday after several days of being closed for renovations.
The "Little People's Playgroun," which is located at 218 Kensington Road, Berlin, has been closed since Dec. 1.

According to the town on Wednesday, the new playground now features a shade canopy and tables.
The initial closure was to allow the town to conduct maintenance on the play area and install additional equipment to be used, wrote the town on Tuesday.

The playground is located in a 2.25-acre park that also features benches, a bathroom, picnic tables, and myriad play items for children of all abilities.
The park is also home to the Berlin Garden Club, with the club recently overseeing landscaping upgrades during a refurbishment of the park.
