BERLIN, CT — Local officials are crediting the Berlin Senior Center's director for her work in obtaining a state grant to fund a new senior citizen bus for local seniors.

The town earlier this month said the state Department of Transportation awarded the local senior center funding for a new, ADA-accessible bus for seniors.

It will take local seniors to various destinations, from appointments to special events.
