Berlin: Strange Vehicle Is Merely StreetsScan
The town has hired a firm to scan and record all of the town's roads to ascertain street conditions and problems in quality.

BERLIN, CT — If you see a funny-looking white vehicled decked out with all sorts of thingamajigs, doohickeys and whatchamacallits, its not some secret government monitoring program.
It's merely the Town of Berlin scanning the town's streets to ensure the general health and welfare of this important municipal service and they hired Streetscan to help.
According to the town's Facebook page, StreetScan's field crew is planning to arrive and begin scanning in Berlin today, July 14.
