BERLIN, CT — A serious crash involving three vehicles had snarled traffic on Route 9 in Berlin Thursday morning, but it is now cleared. According to the state Department of Transportation, the three-vehicle accident happened on the southbound side of the highway between exits 21 and 20S. The DOT said the accident caused some lane closures.
