Crash On Rainy Route 9 Causes Traffic Woes In Berlin

State officials said motorists in that area can expect lane closures.

BERLIN, CT — A single-vehicle wreck on a rain-soaked Route 9 in Berlin has caused some problems for motorists late Tuesday afternoon.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the crash happened at 4:02 p.m. on Route 9 southbound between exits 25 and 23.

State officials said lane closures are to be expected there and it wasn't known when the crash scene would be cleared.
