Town of Berlin BERLIN, CT — A key roadway in town will get a major makeover starting on Wednesday, July 30, Berlin officials recently announced.The Town of Berlin will begin milling and paving Spruce Brook Road this week, with some key dates being: <ul><li>Milling: Wednesday, July 30, to Friday, Aug. 1. </li><li>Paving: Aug. 4 - 8. </li><li>Shoulder restoration: Aug. 11 - 20 (not expected to take eight consecutive days)</li><li>Additional shoulder restoration by the town's highway department: Aug. 20 and beyond. </li></ul>Both Milling and Paving are expected to begin at the Berlin Turnpike and extend east, with work hours being 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.Traffic will be maintained (one-lane) during most of these operations, but there will be delayy, with rainy days pushing the schedule back.<figure class="r-embed"><iframe src width="500" height="673" scrolling="no" allowfullscreen="true" allow="autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture; web-share" data-src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FTownBerlinCT%2Fposts%2Fpfbid02fFSbKu3t4aHST5F2aU8xQpXk9q3VUnpEJtXBfvc7dpwo4ibvFVZApj289ok6V5kjl&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500"></iframe></figure>
