• Berlin-Peck Memorial Library Celebrating Muslim Heritage Month (patch.com) — Berlin residents are invited to mark Muslim Heritage Month at the Berlin-Peck Memorial Library with a curated selection of novels, nonfiction, memoirs, and a graphic novel exploring Muslim life and history. The library’s Kensington Road location is highlighting diverse Muslim voices from around the world, giving local readers many ways to learn about faith, identity, migration, and community throughout January. 
• Cadillac-Driving Bank Robbery Suspect In Custody: Berlin PD (patch.com) — Berlin police report that a suspect has been taken into custody in connection with the New Year’s Eve robbery at the Webster Bank branch on Webster Square Road. A North Haven man turned himself in after investigators, including local, state, and federal agencies, linked him to a gray Cadillac seen leaving the scene.
