• Firefighters put out structure fire in Rocky Hill after finding frozen hydrant (courant.com) — Berlin firefighters were part of Task Force 51 called in to cover Rocky Hill while crews battled a Sunday morning commercial structure fire on Laurel Road, where a frozen hydrant complicated the response. Firefighters found no occupants inside, accessed alternate hydrants, knocked the fire down quickly, and reported no injuries.
