Popular Children's Playground Closed In Berlin This Week

BERLIN, CT — A popular playground in Berlin is closed for at least the rest of the week, town officials announced Monday.

The "Little People's Playgroun," which is located at 218 Kensington Road, Berlin, is closed "until further notice," with the town leaning toward Friday being the last day of closure.

This is to allow the town to conduct maintenance on the play area and install additional equipment to be used, wrote the town on Tuesday.

The playground is located in a 2.25-acre park that also features benches, a bathroom, picnic tables, and myriad play items for children of all abilities.

The park is also home to the Berlin Garden Club, with the club recently overseeing landscaping upgrades during a refurbishment of the park.
